David Hines is a Broker with Howard Hanna Outer Banks Realty and part owner of Coastal NC Holdings, a building development company. He specializes in residential real estate on the Outer Banks and has investment properties throughout Eastern NC.

David has been licensed since 2004, and began as a Real Estate broker with Coldwell Banker where he won numerous achievement awards including International President’s Circle in 2014 and Listing agent of the year in 2013 for the local branch. David is also part owner of Coastal NC Holdings a real estate development company that has been building on the OBX since 2008. David’s attention to detail and holding his vendors to a higher standard ensures that each home is well-built and of the highest quality of craftsmanship.  David has been involved with numerous development projects from Ocracoke to Kitty Hawk. 

A hometown boy, David grew up along the entirety of the coast of NC living in Carteret County and Perquimans County for a while before making the Outer Banks beaches his permanent home. He attended NC State University and is involved with the Dare County chapter of the alumni Wolfpack Club where he helps organize fund raisers and annual charity golf tournaments. David enjoys all that the Outer Banks has to offer including surfing, golfing, fishing and duck hunting.
